New challenge at Sctap Africa.

Ladies today I want to share a new challenge up on the blog over at Scrap Africa. It is a sketch for you to use to create your layout. Simply create a layout, link it up on the blog and you will stand a chance of winning a lovely prize. Pop over and have a look.

                                                               This is the sketch!!!!

Here is my layout I made using the sketch above.

I used these photos of my daughter's wedding and created it in similar colours on the sketch. She got married in May this year and it was winter here in South Africa. So instead of a seaside theme I used the same colours but different photos to create the wedding theme.
So please join us and create a layout.
I cant wait to see what you create with this sketch.

New!!!!!! Ada's kits sketches!!!

Hi there girls.
I have ventured a little bit into the digital scrap booking idea. This has been a load of fun and I enjoy the concept.
I ma not sure that I will give up paper based scrap booking. But digital is fun and relaxing as well.

How ever I have decided to make sketches for my scrap booking.
When I start with a design of a double or single page layout I always sit and make a rough sketch of what I intend doing on the page. I normally do this in pencil and draw embellishments and flowers in as well.
I then thought "well why not do it in digital" and then I have the sketch for future reference and I can then share with every body.

Here then is my first sketch:

I hope you can use this sketch and I would be very interested to see what you create with this sketch!!!

Stamping with glass bowls.

Hi all!!!! Today I am going to share a project I made using glass bowls from my kitchen. I wanted to stamp circles and didn't have a mask or stamp so off to the kitchen I went.

What you will need
Aquarelle water soluble pencils, glass bowls, paint brushes and 3 different colours paint.
I used 3 different colours of brown  and black
Just colour lightly on the pages
Just rub lightly over the colouring
Add paint on the rim of the bowl

I used a mask to create the splash.

And then I made flowers to go with the page.
I will share the tutorial on how to make these flowers soon.

I hope you all enjoy the page and I would love to hear what you think of it.

Thanks for popping by!!!!
